I went to see Dr. Beaty again today for my six month check up! I weigh 18 pounds and 6.4 ounces. I am 26 1/4" long which is still the 40th percentile. My weight is in the 64th percentile, though. Guess that means I'm what they call "chubby". Mommy and Daddy are always making comments about my "chunky thighs" and my "big, fat belly" . . . It's hard on my self-image. Dr. Beaty was nicer; he called me a "solid boy".
Anyway, he said everything else looks good, too. He thinks my muscle tone is above average for a six month old (even one not born early). No one really would know anymore that I was so early!
Next goal: sitting up by myself. I'll keep ya posted on that!
